Add spacing between list items When you apply paragraph spacing to a bullet or numbered list, sometimes the spacing is only applied above or below the entire list, not in between each item within the list. I use this feature constantly so here comes the annoying part. Squint your eyes to blur the letterforms and focus on the shapes and the negative space between them. Try to balance the space between letters optically. Select a kerning value from the menu or click the up/down arrows add Shift for greater increments.
